As of April 29, 2021, another person who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 296. It also pushed the monthly death toll to 64 making April the deadliest month by far for the coronavirus.
The latest fatality is one 57-year-old female from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica) who died at a medical facility
