Counterfeit currency seized

On Monday evening, police conducted a search at a house Sea Dam, Crabwood Creek, Corriverton and seized $320,000 in counterfeit currency. Four suspects have been taken into custody.

The search of the house uncovered a total of 64 counterfeit $5,000 notes, an HP Desk jet printer and two laptop computers. The notes are suspected to be forgeries with the computers and printer being used to produce them.

The suspects were taken to Springlands Police Station and investigations are ongoing.
