Guyana‘s COVID-19 deaths keep climbing

Two more COVID-19 patients died on Sunday at the medical institution where they were being treated. In a statement, the Ministry of Health (MOH) reported that as of February 28, 2021, two more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died.
This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 197.
The latest fatalities are a 64-year-old male from Region Ten (Upper Demerara-Berbice) and a 79-year-old female from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica).
