Today, a team comprising Shadow Minister of Local Government and Regional Development, Ganesh Mahipaul M.P., Shadow Minister of Education, Natasha Singh-Lewis M.P., Shadow Minister of Human Services and Social Security, Dineshwar Jaiprashad M.P., Regional Chairman Demerara-Mahaica Regional Democratic Council Region No.4, Mr. Daniel Seeram J.P. and the Mayor of Georgetown, His Worship Pandit Ubraj Narine J.P. paid a courtesy call on the High Commissioner of India to Guyana, H.E. Dr. K. J. Srinivasa.
Among the many topics discussed were cultural development, training, education, health, urban, social and economic development.
The deliberations were fruitful and promising on both sides. There is an intention to frequently engage and discuss matter of mutual interest.
It is the desire of all that were present to foster great continued relations for the betterment of both countries.
