Two more COVID-19 deaths push total to 233

The Ministry of Health (MOH) reported that as of March 31, 2021, two more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 233.
The latest fatalities are two women, one 91-year- old from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica) and another 84-year-old from Region 10 (Upper Demerara- Berbice). They both died while receiving care at our medical facility.
