Fires are continuing and as of recent 2 have taken the lives of two men, one a former teacher.
At 01:42 hours yesterday, firefighters from the Linden Fire Station responded to a report of a fire at the intersection of Dageraad Avenue and Greenheart Street, MacKenzie, Linden. A Chinese national identified as Zang, perished in the fire.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway, with authorities working diligently to determine the origin and circumstances surrounding this incident.
And the other Fire at Beterverwagting claimed the Life of an Elderly Man identified as Moses Elias. That fire began at approximately 4:00 hrs on Friday. The cause of the fire is suspected to be malicious, with the perpetrator(s) currently unknown.
